All entrants to BTA sanctioned events are required to be members of the BTA which provides them with Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance cover whilst taking part in the event. The fee for non-BTA members includes Day Membership of the BTA. Submitting this form without declaring a valid BTA license number is acceptance of the BTA day membership scheme outlined below. If a valid BTA license cannot be provided by the competitor at registration, a Day Membership will have to be purchased to compete in the event. |

No postal entries received after the closing dates will be accepted. The entry will be returned. This is because we are volunteer race organisers and so the time we can put aside for race organisation is limited. We need the final week before each race to prepare for the day to ensure the event is to the standard you have come to expect. The race series was oversubscribed in 2003 with races filling weeks before the deadline for postal entries. To avoid disappointment you are advised to enter early. |
Our policy on refunds and transfers to other races is as follows. Race entries are NOT transferable between people. The only transfers available are for the same person to move their accepted (1) entry to a different race in the same race series as per the rules below. If the competitor notifies (2) us up to 2 weeks before the race we will allow refund or transfer of entry to another TT race in the same year (i.e 2004 race series). If the competitor notifies (2) us up to 1 week before the race, and we have not advertised the race as full, we will allow a transfer of entry to another race in the same year (i.e 2004 race series). If the competitor notifies (2) us up to 1 week before the race, and we have advertised (3) the race as full, we will not allow any refund or transfer. This is because we will have turned entries away and so cannot offer the place to anyone else, hence it is unfair to the club, to then lose revenue by offering a transfer. (1) An accepted entry is an entry form received by Thames Turbo Triathlon Club for entry into our race series on the correct and current entry form which has had the funds accepted by the club, i.e. we have taken cash or cashed your cheque. (2) Notification by the competitor means sending an email to thames_turbo@yahoo.com or the club receiving a letter at the following address within the above stated time scales. (3) If any 1 race fills to the limit of our event, we will advertise this fact on the club website, www.thamesturbo.co.uk. Postal notification by a competitor of an intention to transfer their entry must arrive at the below address no more than 2 days after the 'race full' message appears on the web site." Thanks, Thames Turbo Triathlon Club |
