Thames Turbo Junior Aquathlon

Welcome to the Thames Turbo Junior Aquathlon pages for 2008.

The 2008 race will be held on the 22nd June 2008 at:

The Lady Eleanor Holles School,

Hanworth Road,

Hampton

Middlesex

TW12 3HF

The event commences at 11.00am with registration taking place from 9.30am - 10.30am

This years race is also a BT London Region Tristar & Youth Series Event.

The race will be run according to BT rules and will take place in a 25m pool and on grass school fields. Please make sure that your child is capable of the distances that are required.

Entries are £10 which includes £1 British Triathlon day membership (refundable on production of BT race license at registration)

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each category (male and female) and the top team. Also the “IBS Office Solutions” prize for the school with the most number of competitors finishing the race.

There will be no entries on the day.

The race categories are as follows (age as of 31st Dec 08)

Tri star - 8yrs - Swim 50m & Run 500m

Tri star 1 - 9/10yrs - Swim 150m & Run 1500m

Tri star 2 - 11/12yrs - Swim 250m & Run 2000m

Tri star 3 - 13/14yrs - Swim 350m & Run 3000m

Tri star 4 - 15/16yrs - Swim 450m & Run 3000m
